Scarlett Johansson has been recognised for the amazing work she does and was paid $20 million for Black Widow. Which is roughly the same as her male co-stars were paid for their solo movies.
Typically, women are paid less than men. The top 10 highest paid female actors of 2018 earned less combined than George Clooney alone. This is absurd when they all do the same job.

Joaquin Phoenix has a net worth of over $75 million and he is one of the highest-paid actors in Hollywood. This is compared to Gal Gadot’s net worth of only $30 million. Despite the fact that they do the same job.
Captain America
In every workplace, not just Hollywood, there has been a pay gap between men and women. Even when men and women do equal jobs, women are paid less.
In Captain America: The First Avenger, Chris Evans earned $300,000. Compared to in The Guardians of the Galaxy where Zoe Saldana was only paid $100,000.
Wonder Woman
Patty Jenkins, the female director of Wonder Woman thought about quitting DC as she was not paid what she was worth. Jenkins fought to be paid what she was worth so that future directors are paid what they are worth, no matter their gender.
